ABOUT THE RGI GHOUL SQUAD
Okay, so what in the world is the RGI GHOUL SQUAD?
The RGI GHOUL SQUAD is the official “Street Team” for M. R. Sellars and the Rowan Gant Investigations series of novels. Not sure what a “Street Team” is? Well, some of us are probably old enough to remember the KISS Army – I know I am. Well, there you have ground zero for a “Street Team.” Basically, it is a group or groups of dedicated and extremely motivated fans who want others to enjoy something just as much as they do, therefore they go the “extra mile” to spread the word.
What do RGI GHOUL SQUAD members do?
1. Offer bookmarks/flyers to local booksellers and librarians
2. Hand out chapter sampler booklets to booksellers and librarians
3. Talk to local libraries & bookstores about carrying the RGI novels
4. Add widgets/links to their blogs, MySpace, Facebook, website, etc.
5. Blog about RGI novels and associated events
6. Write reviews – good ones – on Amazon and other review sites
7. Sing the praises of the RGI novels to friends, family, and other readers
8. And whatever creative promo idea they come up with…

In addition, RGI GHOUL SQUAD activities are scored on a point system. What this means is that members are awarded points for their promotional efforts, which they track then report at the end of each month. The member with the highest points for that month wins an exclusive RGI GHOUL SQUAD coffee mug along with 1 pound of coffee beans. But, these aren’t just any old coffee beans. They are hand roasted and custom blended specifically for us here at RGI GHOUL SQUAD headquarters. (Nope. Not kidding.)
