…should you decide to accept it.

And no, we don’t have the benefit of exploding tape recorders or even fancy gadgets. This is just plain old grass roots stuff here.

As most – if not all – of you know, Miranda: A Rowan Gant Investigation is now officially available. Well, it would seem that for some reason it is not being sold by Amazon.com, other than as a Kindle version. There is a current listing for the paperback version, however it is a third party seller, not Amazon.

Now, while I am all about independent booksellers as opposed to big chains, and mega-sites like Amazon, I am also a realist. I know, as most authors do, that Amazon is a large percentage of sales for a book – especially when it is from an indie press. So, unfortunately, sometimes we must embrace the evil that is corporate America.

The only reason I am bringing this up now is the fact that one of my fans is a former Amazon customer service rep, and she contacted them about all of this. It seems she was told that, “Amazon will NOT be carrying the paperback version of Miranda.”

Granted, said fan also pointed out that this is a fairly standard “canned” response that is used by the reps at Amazon, however, to date they still do not have the book listed for sale under their banner.

So… If you are so inclined, being the Ghoul Squadders that you are, maybe you could take a moment to drop Amazon a line asking about the availability of Miranda: A Rowan Gant Investigation by M. R. Sellars. We certainly don’t want you to take them to task or anything of that sort. Simply a respectful customer inquiry.

Honestly, I can’t imagine that they wouldn’t carry the book. They have no reason not to. But, they aren’t moving very fast and a friendly nudge never hurts.

Until the next time, keep on getting your ghoul on!
